10 Arts’ Blue Cheese Cocktail

N
o meal at 10 Arts is complete without a prelude of cocktails.  One must-try is the Versailles ($15), cool and lightly sweet with Cruzan rum, blueberries, lemon, and fragrant truffle-honey syrup.

What makes this cocktail truly special is the thrillingly seductive chunk of blue cheese that sits on top.  You can wipe that horrified look off your face now.

The contrast of sweet summer flavors and savory blue cheese would make any fromagier proud.  The hardest part is fishing out the fallen pieces of cheese from the bottom of the glass with a cocktail pick.

Kangaroo cheeseburgers.
