4Bitten Media Launches

ast week, 4Bitten hosted its official launch party on the much talked-about, new rooftop of Masa 14.  Over 200 guests enjoyed cocktails and hearty bites like marinated portobello bao buns, bay scallop ceviche, spicy shrimp flatbread and teriyaki-glazed Kobe beef hot dogs.

Threatening thunderstorms held off long enough for party-goers to enjoy copper sunsets, warm breezes and party favors in the form of Toute Sweets cookies impeccably printed with the 4Bitten logo.

As you may know, Girl Meets Food is now part of the 4Bitten Media network, which I co-founded with Johnna Rowe, Lauren DeSantis and Lisa Shapiro (pictured above).

4Bitten Media is the first blog collective of its kind.  Unlike a group blog with multiple writers, 4Bitten Media is a collection of independent blogs which have combined our efforts to bring you the best of DC’s food scene.

At the end of the night, guests were treated to swag bags filled with treats from 4Bitten’s sponsors Masa 14, El Centro, Zengo, Catoctin Creek Distillery, Hill Country, Ris, Ping Pong Dim Sum, Indigo Landing, Matchbox Food Group, Pop Chips and Tweet’s Sweets.

Many thanks to Masa 14 for hosting such a kick-ass event, and to the Moshe Zusman Photography Studio, who can make a Girl look her best!
