These donuts are served fresh and warm and liberally covered in cinnamon, with a side of expresso Kahlua creme for dipping. Co Co. Sala is the Willy Wonka of DC, and I like to end dinner with the Raspberry Affair ($12). White chocolate and raspberry mousse is covered in pink pearls, a side of champagne and pomegranate sorbet, and a ‘goji’ berry chocolate. The flan de camote ($7.50) at Oyamel is no ordinary flan, but made from sweet potatoes and tamarind. My favorite flan ever, it’s rich and creamy and comes with a scoop of sweet apple sorbet.
