Open Kitchen is farm-to-table Midwestern American cooking using fresh, local and sustainable ingredients.
One humble yet spectacular offering on the menu is the lobster bread pudding ($15) with sweet corn purée and snow pea tendrils.
Hot, bubbling and brown on top, soft, fluffy and eggy on the inside, it’s filled with generous chunks of fragrant, sweet lobster. This is indulgent comfort food at its finest.
Other mandatory must-tries: seared spice-crusted jumbo sea scallops ($26), PEI steamed mussels ($15), crisp roasted “smart chicken” ($24), and white chocolate sun-dried cherry bread pudding ($8).
