We were at a fancy restaurant, and I came out of the restaurant with my skirt caught up in my pantyhose. Not my best Valentine moment.

Accidentally booking a dinner meeting for work. Oops! I definitely could have saved that by coming home with cupcakes.

My boyfriend made reservations for the wrong night! It ended up fine, but he was so upset! Cupcakes definitely would have helped.

I was cooking V-day dinner for my boyfriend (now husband) and everything that could go wrong did go wrong. It was especially embarrassing because first, usually I am very capable in the kitchen and two, my significant other is an absolutely fabulous cook (bad cooking in front of a good cook is just a sad affair). If we would have had cupcakes at the time, the bad dinner would have been long forgotten. Cupcakes make everything better.

These cupcakes will surely erase the most awful Valentine’s day moment for me. It was a few years ago and this cute guy and I made plans to go see a movie. Well, he called me and asked could he bring a few of his guy friends along. I was devastated! I actually called my cousin and we got together instead. That guy was so mad.

Went on a date with a cheapskate. “3.50 for tea?!” I’ll bet he’d enjoy these cupcakes–“Ha ha, they were free!”

In college, I mistook a flower arrangement meant for a girl whose name was very similar to mine as mine and took the arrangement up to my room. It was embarrassing when I looked closely and saw that they were meant for the other person and had to take them back down to the front desk.

I’ve never had a Valentine so spending each Valentine’s Day with myself would’ve been a better date if there were more sweets around, like cupcakes. 😉

I second Missy’s answer, and adding to it, when I was working at a Kid’s Club on Valentine’s Day, and a child asked if I had a boyfriend, and I said I didn’t, the child responded, “Yeah, boys are too hot for you these days.”
