DC-3’s Left Winger

f you’ve ever had a soy hot dog, you know that it tastes like something squeezed out of a Play-Doh Mega Fun Factory.  Worse still, it’s not star-shaped, electric blue, or hours of fun.

Have you thought about why soy dogs are the color of mannequins? Close yet oddly off?  Only thing worse than imitation meat is imitation-imitation meat.

Preparing for landing is DC-3’s California Left-Winger, an all veggie falafel “dog,” deep-fried and prepared just like traditional falafel. Nestled in a freshly-baked bun from local Heidelburg Deli, it has that delightful, satisfying snap like a real hot dog, but no actual meat.  DC-3’s California Left-Winger is deep fried to a golden brown, topped with cool, creamy tzatziki sauce and avocado.  Hot, hearty, crunchy, and full of texture.

Because you always order fries, this time get the fried pickles, coated in a light, airy tempura-like batter for crunch and mild tartness.  And don’t forget to get the vegetarian child in you some cotton candy, handspun before your very eyes, in bright pink or blue colors.  As in Play-Doh colors.
